Now that school as restarted, I need to start thinking about my thesis. In the Master in History program I have two thesis options: writing a 100 page paper or filming a documentary with a shorter write up. The documentary option originally drew me to the program and I do enjoy filming and editing, so this is the direction I am leaning.

The hard part will be settling on a topic. It must be exciting and interesting enough to keep my attention so that I do not drag the process out for semesters on end. One option would be to write or film a topic involving aviation. With an entire museum and its wealth of knowledge at my finger tips I could be doing myself a favor. However, in undergrad I did enjoy studying Pre-Colombian Latin America. As of right now, only aviation themed topics have come to mind.
